Permalink FT: My '62 Tele Custom Copy For Your Jazzmaster/Jag...

New Topic

Hi all...

I'm really on the hunt for a nice American-made Jazzmaster or Jaguar, and I'm ready to throw down my personal 1962 Telecaster Custom copy to find one....
The Thin Skin would be my first choice, but would consider vintage re-fins, and AVRIs...
OK, this is a Mark Jenny painted Telecaster Custom body matched with an Allparts neck with a "C" shape, but I did the antiquing on both under the name of E-Stamp Guitar Reproductions.

This is a bench-copy of a friend's '62, so I was attempting to replicate the wear on the original instrument...
I find that the aging process takes a long time (sometimes a year or so), and the larger companies don't seem to have the time to do it...
But I digress... Wink

The pickups are wound by Charlie Davis, who worked at Fender during the 50's...
They sound wonderful...

I value the guitar at $1.5K...
It ships in an older Fender-style case (not sure of the manufacturer) that lends to the appearance of age...

Thanks for looking, and let me know what you might have...
