That's easy...........EV-15L Eddie K's second choice?......Peavey 1502-4 steel guitar speaker (oooooh, it even has a 4 ohm impedance AND an aluminum cap). ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps? |

Thanks Eddie, BTW, I need 8 ohm, my amp is a standard '65 Showman. Don't care for looks, looking for a mostly clean sound, warm and round, that can be preferably purchased new, for a reasonable price... Is that too much to ask Maybe start a poll? It sure can help others as well, something like - Best modern 15" for trad Surf tones. It's so subjective, I know, and depends heavily on the rest of your setup and goals, but I have no way to listen and compare. I'm kinda stuck here. |
