Apache' Pipeline and my new favorite Baja.

I remember very few instro songs(or any other songs) but I still enjoy playing Squad Car and the parts of Red Sunrise that I use to know. I've more or less made the resolution to never learn other songs and focus on stuff my friends write for me or stuff I've come up with myself.

Some of the songs that I remember being quite enjoyable were Glide, The Defector, Rell Sun Aloha, Hawaii Joe, and Intensity!. I remember little bits of those songs. And in the Slacktone cases, I never really had them down perfectly. I learned my own bastardized versions. Could never play like Dave, especially back when I use to learn songs.

Raise your hand if you like playing some Wronski!

I always enjoy Squad Car, The Munsters ala Los Straitjackets, and I Feel Fine.

I raise my hand for Wronski!!! The only song I know by Slacktone is "Longboard Legato." It's the version from the surf joe concert from Italy a couple years ago which is on youtube. I love slacktone's version of "Hawaii 5-0 too.

I wish!

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

I always had a soft spot for the Fireballs and the String-a-longs. Loved to play stuff like Bulldog, Torquay, Ric-a-tic, Gunshot, Wheels, Mathilda, and Tell the World. They just felt right under my fingers. That's in addition to a lot of the others mentioned.

Respect, Jeff

"Theme form Endless Summer" is lyrical and dreamy... and fun!

"As The Dark Wave Swells" is also a moving and powerful tune to play.

"Surf Rider" is always fun for me to play. I also like to noodle with "Green Onions" and "Time Is Tight" as guitar instrumentals...replacing the Hammond melody with lead guitar.

Bass-wise, I really like Sleepwalk. Simple line, but a fun song to play. Worked out Our Favorite Martian, which is a cool bass line. Pipeline always gets the band going. Kelp's El Alacran is a great song....I crank that one up and play rock star with that one.

The Luau Cinders

Lately I've been playing nothing but Mr. Moto and Malaguena over and over..

As for covers..one of my favorites is Twilight At Rincon..The Volcano's composition.
