I'm selling a Fender reissue American Jazzmaster. When I bought it, It had several dents from a run-in with a dropped pedal board. I stripped all the finish, repaired the dents, and re-finished it using Re-Ranch Nitro laquer Lake Placid Blue. The finish is really shiny and nice, with the exception of two areas on both sides of the body near the neck. I rushed the final clear coats, and then ran out of paint to fix it right. It is dis-colored and looks like a run, but it isn't. The paint is smooth, and shiny here, just dis-colored. You can see it in the photos.
Also, the headstock was painted to match. there is a little spot near the decal that got over-buffed. The decal is a repro that isn't exact, but pretty darn close. The rest of the neck has an aged tinted Nitro finish.
The pics are a fair representation of how it actually looks. I know sometimes photos make things look better than they are, but the finish on this looks really great with the exceptions mentioned.
The rest of the guitar is stock - and it plays great - it's set up with D'Addario 12-52 flatwounds. Very little playing time on this guitar, the frets are in good shape - I'm selling it to thin out the herd, and save for something else. The thin Nitro finish should age really nicely.
I'm asking $1100 shipped in the cont. US. I'll insure it too. It comes with the case pictured, which is in good shape. There are a few scuffs.
