The Orbison cover on Baja is what grabbed my attention to him. Who else can throw down on that one? That Orby tune really lets you know what he's capable of. In concert the covers were the high lights. Thee band seemed more energetic playing them. Or maybe I was more alert being most familiar with the covers. My 6118 gets that sound when you pick it up before you even plug it in.

I remember buying"Silvertone" on the basis of seeing one video on "Friday Night Videos" and reading a review that said the album sounded like "Meet The Beatles" done in minor chords.
His live shows are always amazing... I agree that adding a dose of Dickerson would be fun.
