Permalink Replacing Vox AC15C1 reverb w/Accutronics 8EB2C1B

New Topic

Hey,

I don't like the AC15C1 reverb, it's got no real spring, super long dwell etc, and find myself currently using my Fender FRV-1 all the time instead and cascade that into my TC Electronic Hall of Fame for a nice double verb sound w/the amp verb off.

I was looking at upgrading the stock AC15C1 verb to the Accutronics 8EB2C1B and was wondering if anyone had used it and could offer thoughts on it please.

Essentially, what's it's character? Is it going to give me that nice drip feel the FRV-1 gives (OK I know it's not the real deal but it's a decent alternative heh) or if it, like the stock verb, is all a bit murky.

Cheers!
