Permalink Fender Electronic Echo Chamber

New Topic

Hello Guys,
I purchased this echo chamber thinking it was the Fender Echo/Reverb unit. It appears the guy did not know what he was selling.
Anyway, the unit is not working so as soon as my tech fixed my new amp (67 Blackface Bassman) and reverb unit (only maintenance), I'll give it to see if he can fix it.
I found the schematic and I could find that it was produced between 63 and 67. Apart from that, I don't have much info about it. If someone has one or know much about it, let me know !

Is this the same unit silverface?

Jeremy

No, mine has only 2 knobs (see the picture above).

There is actually few words about it in Teagle & Sprung's Fender Amps - The First Fifty years but no more than you can learn on google...

Robby Krieger uses one of these in this video. You don't see too many of these around.

Aqualadius, I once had several as in your pic [grabbed for $5 each at our '72 employee pre-Xmas Saturday sale @ CBS/Fender]. They were difficult to keep going [rubberband belts and all] but I used them every night through the '70s.
