This came in the mail today. Nice chunky neck, ridiculously flat fretboard. The scale is like 24.5". Kind of a nice change from my 25.5" guitars. The tuners are really hard to turn, but they seem to hold tuning okay. The bridge is interesting - it's kind of like those Bigsby sorkin bridges, but it's screwed to the top. I might unscrew so I can adjust intonation.

Plugged in it sounds surprisingly good. I was concerned about the single pickup thing, but the tone reminds me of the middle setting on a Jazzmaster. No wonder people like these gold foils. I was half thinking of parting this out for other projects, but I might just keep it as is.

The body looks less cool to me in person because it's so small. I love the shape, but the size reminds me of those Guitar Hero controllers. I do love the 60s style target burst finish.

I'm definitely going to add a vibrato to this though - I have no use for a guitar with no whammy.

All in all, I'd say I got my money's worth for $25 plus shipping.
