I added myself to the map which doesn't show my location correctly. I am actually south of Interstate 80 half way between Stroudsburg and Lehighton on Rt. 209.
If anyone is near (say 1 hour or so) this area and is interested in playing surf and instro music informally, or knows someone who is, please let me know.
Thanks!

I have some friends up that way Noel, I'm originally from Milford myself and have family in Stroudsburg, Mt Pocono and Bushkill. I know quite a few guys that were bluesmen in the 90's but are now diggin' the Surf beat. Friend me if you're on facebook and I'll suggest them as friends to you!

Thanks. This is great news. It means I'll have to join facebook but that will be worth it.
I'll create an account and let you know the particulars. I'm at the fourth corner of the Stroudsburg, Bushkill, Mt. Pocono square. It's called the West End for that reason.
P.S. I've ridden up to Millford many times. Nice town.

Ha! I'll be in Bushkill tomorrow to visit my brother, we're driving out to the Saylorsburg Flea Mkt. Last time I was there I bought a 1973 Garnet Gnome for $35 in mint condition, I've seen them going for $350!!! Not a bad profit if I were to sell it but of course I had to go and blow out the 8 inch speaker the same day I bought it.....

I'm sweetening the pot with a van, a bass (bass amp in a couple of weeks), 3 electric guitars (two with tremelos), 2 guitar amps, 3 acoustic guitars and a drum kit. And bongos.
This reminds me of in the mid-'70's when a friend and I were going to race a BMW sidecar motorcycle together. I bought the van. He didn't buy the race bike. It's not the same van.
I also have LOTS of air-conditioned space, off-street parking and we don't need the garage.
