My SG101 T-shirts are getting kind of worn out.
Are there any plans to do another run soon?

mine are too. i talked to brian about doing them again last summer but have gotten hung up doing other stuff. the price of t shirts at the wholesale level has gone up. i might be up to doing it again but it's going to be one design on one color of shirt. — |

If that one design could be a few colors on the one color shirt... I'd totally rock this on a shirt: Shirt color... of course white would work, but maybe even the icy aqua blue/greenish color that's the rising sun on this website could be kinda cool. —Fady El Mirage @ ReverbNation |

Has anyone thought of using CafePress (Go to cafepress.com and type "surf gear" in the search field to see what's already there) or something like them? You upload your designs to a storefront you set up on their Website, and they print on demand whenever there's an order. They do all the shipping and sales tracking for you; then they send you money. Because there is no on-hand inventory, they're not so good for on-site sales at events, but they greatly simplify having whatever size or color customers want. It sure makes overseas orders (say to Hawaii and Australia) easy. They have many types of T's, muscle shirts, caps, hoodies, baseball shirts, mugs and lots of other products, including childrens and pets clothes. And they do bumper stickers. —This is Noel. Maybe a link to the SG101 store there could be inside the Store link on the SG101 Home page? —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. Last edited: May 15, 2011 12:51:19 |

cafepress is a decent way to go especially for small orders. they are about $5.00 more through them than buying a shirt that was bulk printed by a screen printer. i like the idea of using the sticker fady posted. sg101 would get whatever 'profit' cafepress pays out. i don't think it's much but then again it's pretty hassle free and probably the best bet. — |

Contact Mammoth Print Shop in Auburn, Alabama and tell them that Noah from Kill, Baby...Kill! sent you. They will work out a great rate for you, I can assure you. Kristena was asking me if there was going to be a t-shirt for the SG101 convention. Jeff(bigtikidude) |

yes jeff. they sold okay when i took them to california with me but it took me forever to sell what was left after the convention. i ended up just breaking even on them, which is okay, but i was hoping to have some $$$ from them to give brian for this site. |

kill baby.......before you joined this site i handled setting up and selling sg101 t shirts for the site. i used the local screenprinter we use for our store t shirts. they do a really nice job and their price was reasonable. my intention was to make a few bucks for myself for being the distributor and a few bucks for brian for the site. and, it was just a few bucks. i really enjoyed doing it and it was a no hassle thing for me as i shipped everything out of my shop and used my shop credit card and paypal accounts. i wouldn't mind doing it again but like i said earlier it would have to be on one color of shirt with one simple design to save on screen set up charges. seeing how much the wholesale price has gone up on shirts this year i think a shirt would have to go for about $20, shipping included in the USA and canada. are people willing to pay that i don't know. — |

With very limited profit, with all the colors of the logo, I am pretty sure you could get the shirts at a price that could go for 10 to 15 dollars with a minimum order of 25. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

This is a community-based website; I can't do everything myself, nor would I want to. People like Carol, Jeff, Warren, Ken DuShane, Danny, etc. have all stepped up and volunteered their time and efforts for everyone to benefit from. So a big round of applause for Carol who led us through 2 runs of t-shirts in the recent past. I like the idea, in theory, of another t-shirt with Fred's design. But I don't know if I want to take on the distribution. A couple of options spring to my mind:
I'm going to move this thread to the website forum. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea Last edited: May 16, 2011 08:55:40 |

Maybe we pinch the Kickstarter concept and see who commits $'s up front (aka pre-order) over the period of a few weeks or something. That'd help determine if someone foots costs up front or if it's option 3 / Cafe Press for the select few... I'm not saying set it up as Kickstarer project per-se (although that might be interesting), but just the idea of put your money where your mouth is to get a real sense of interest. —Fady El Mirage @ ReverbNation |

brian, i wouldn't mind doing it again and i don't mind paying for them. i think the new sticker, above on fadys' post, would look good as a front design. it would look good on a heather grey shirt (kind of the color of a grey athletic sweatshirt) it wouldn't show up on black unless there was a thin white line outlining the black. a lot of people don't like white because it gets dirty, black because it's too hot, etc, etc but like i said before one color of shirt and printed on the front and i'm in. so.....if you want me to do it again chime in and give me an idea of size and how many........it's just easier for everyone involved if i use my stores paypal/charge card account and of course you get a free sticker with a shirt as i've got lots of the older sticker left over. — |
