February Birthdays 
I went to a venue in New York City last evening (May 6 2011) called 'THE SUFFOLK'. Totally crazy space for music, with live 'art' going on behind the bands. That is, folks were sculpturing, painting etc. (I have featured this in some of the videos I shot there). More about the space here: http://tinyurl.com/5w9bs7u.
Opening band is one I have heard of, but never heard their music or seen them live. After their performance, I immediately said you guys gotta come to one of my monthly SURF-ROCK SHINDIGs!! They are THE GREAT WHITE CAPS.

GREAT BAND, RIGHT? KINDA SURF-PUNKY, reminded me a little of TGHE TEQUILA WORMS.
For THE COFFIN DAGGERS, the band lowered the room lights. So I shot a video of them, as you will see, in a much-darkened environment. Same be said for DAIKAIJU. Sorry the videos came out so "dark" but I really had no choice. I am hoping to catch DAIKAIJU one or 2 more times on this tour, and hopefully the venue(s) will be better lit.
