Permalink Very Cool 60s Italian Instru - Warning Rated PG13

New Topic

Ok, I really hesitated about posting this video link...because its of a stripper from the 60s and rated PG-13. Let me explain:

I heard a tune I really liked called La Sorella Di Cristine, and discovered Italian instru from the 60s. Apparently, it's by Andrea Tosi, so I did a search and found this youtube clip. Apart from the obvious reason...it's a stripper...I love this video on so many levels. Its so 60s. It's in black and white. The tune is just instru cool. The faces of the guys in the crowd are classic...and, oh yeah, there's a stripper.

You're right. That's a great .... tune. Brings back memories of my youth. Thanks for sharing the .... tune.

Just FYI, there's a gold mine of great music in Italian films from the mid 50's to mid 60's. The films are .... interesting, too. Many have the look and sound of Experiment in Terror, which also has a terrific sound-track.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Excellent tune too!

Nice and swanky just the way I like it! Yes
The guitar work is pretty nifty too!

Reverb, It's A Way Of Life!

My thoughts are:

1.Come to Butthead.
2.You can see her thingies.

Great tune, thanks!

Love it!

I'm impressed. Italians are no strangers to twang and their models have meat on their bones.

I like how the video definitely gets to the point. Or should I say points?

Be careful following the masses. Sometimes the "M" is silent...........................

I'm really hooked! Had a google around. The track appears on a 2008 various artists cd called "Tabu! Volume 1"

Here's another version - Christine by Miss X.
Quote from my source of info:
Miss X is the name used by Joyce Blair for this 1963 record reputedly about Christine Keeler who had been involved in the Profumo Affair in 1963. This record is one of the very few to have been banned from play on Radio Luxembourg despite that it still made the UK top 40.
