Jeff(bigtikidude)

I even tried to post that link below the first line, and it jumped it up and added it to the 1st line.

What you are running into is a common criticism of Markdown. Paragraphs are separated by a blank line. To manually insert a line break, end the line with 2 or more spaces.

I take it
you want something like this
Is that right?

If you click the blue question mark next to the submit button you'll see a pop-up cheat sheet for the new formatting.

It's also easy to number or bullet-ize items.

gotcha,

Thanks sir.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

I consider this behavior a minor annoyance. I know of several websites that use Markdown, but they've modified it so it doesn't do that. I'll put that on the to-do list.

Yeah that's a killer. I copy and paste my playlists from an excel file, but then again I've been meaning to make a macro to auto-add dashes between artists and songs anyway, so maybe now's the time

Storm Surge of Reverb: Surf & Instro Radio

I'm actively looking into a fix for this right now.

I am now
typing stuff in
BTD style. Without
leaving any extra spaces at the end of
lines.
Please try it out and provide
feedback.
TY.

ok
here it goes.
Did it work?

Yes!
it works!!
Brian you are a genius.

Now,,,,
where is the jump to button?
This new site is great, but it will take some getting used to.

all right!! the jump button is here!! Yes
BTW love the new smiley pop down, Big Grin

So I added some new markup for strikethrough. I originally used two dashes around the text like this:

--this text to be deleted--

But Whorehay uses 2 dashes everywhere in his playlists, so the next time he posted, 1/2 of it was crossed out. ROTFL

I changed it to be 3 dashes around text. Hopefully this will make accidental strikeouts less common.

Thanks for putting up with me!
