I even tried to post that link below the first line, and it jumped it up and added it to the 1st line. —Jeff(bigtikidude) |

What you are running into is a common criticism of Markdown. Paragraphs are separated by a blank line. To manually insert a line break, end the line with 2 or more spaces. I take it If you click the blue question mark next to the submit button you'll see a pop-up cheat sheet for the new formatting. It's also easy to number or bullet-ize items. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

I consider this behavior a minor annoyance. I know of several websites that use Markdown, but they've modified it so it doesn't do that. I'll put that on the to-do list. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

Yeah that's a killer. I copy and paste my playlists from an excel file, but then again I've been meaning to make a macro to auto-add dashes between artists and songs anyway, so maybe now's the time — |

I'm actively looking into a fix for this right now. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

So I added some new markup for --this text to be deleted-- But Whorehay uses 2 dashes everywhere in his playlists, so the next time he posted, 1/2 of it was crossed out. I changed it to be 3 dashes around text. Hopefully this will make accidental strikeouts less common. Thanks for putting up with me! —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea Last edited: Mar 04, 2011 23:05:35 |
