Hello from Spain¡¡ a few days ago I got the chance to change my "Marshall ED-1 Compressor" by a Dynacomp MXR (reissue) second hand... and just received today¡¡¡ for lack of time have hardly been tested yet...Some of you use this pedal ...? I would like someone to tell me what is your opinion on the MXR Dynacomp in quality and sound (considering that not a high-end pedal ...) and appreciate much to give me some advice on how to use it and set it to play "Surf" ... I mean like are your settings, etc ... if they think it is better to use by the "input " or the "FX loop" ... .
My idea is to have it on almost all the time ... My amp is a Peavey Classic 30(normally I have with the bass to 3,middle 10, treble at 3 ...controls reach the 12 ...) . The guitars I use most are a Squier Stratocaster Classic Vibe 50(lake placid blue color), Squier Jagmaster (modified with pickups, control plates, slide switches and pickguard for fender jaguar ...) and an Eastwood Saturn 63 ( modified with P90 "soapbar" pickups from GFS). Soon you will also receive an MXR MicroAmp ... (to be replaced by my BOSS OD-3 (overdrive)). I am very grateful for your help, advice and suggestions¡¡¡ I hope your answer¡¡¡ A greetings and thanks¡¡¡
