This is my oldest guitar. I'm out of love with the short scale, but it's a fantastic guitar and was my holy grail when I first started playing. I really don't want to let it go, but I wanted a Gomez amp more than I wanted several extra guitars.
Most of you will know what these are, but for those that don't, this is one of the original run of Jagmasters made in Japan. It's a '97 according to the heel stamp. It has had the frets professionally leveled and has been professionally set up for 12's, though it's currently strung with a set of 11's. The neck is totally clean and has no dings. There are two tiny dings in the bottom of the body which I've pictured below.
The neck is a MIJ Jaguar neck. The body is a MIJ Jazzmaster body routed for a Strat trem and humbucker pickups. When I started actually playing in a band I wanted to ditch the humbuckers without modding the guitar. I ordered a set of Vintage Vibe humbucker-sized P-90's wound with alnico magnets and this did the trick.
It comes with what I was told by someone is a '70's Fender case for a short scale guitar. I'm not sure if this is true. The case has no identifying marks, but it's in pretty decent shape for it's age with the latches, handle, and the red interior intact. It fits the guitar perfectly. I still have the stock pickups if the buyer is interested. Asking $400 shipped in the continental US. I'd love to see it go to someone here rather than an anonymous eBayer.
