First of all, thanks to everyone that has ordered Seasonal Favorites Volume One (and if you haven't, go on to the Double Crown website at www.dblcrown.com and use coupon code FALALALA to get 15% off any sized order). Bizarrely (and happily), it is probably the fastest selling CD to come out on Double Crown in the past few years. I think it's due to the fact it appeals not only to surf/instro fans, but to basically anyone that likes Christmas music.
I am busy filling orders for this release, but I also want to start working on Volume Two next year. At this point I don't have any songs lined up for the sequel, so if you are in a band and have a Christmas/Holiday song please get in touch. Also keep it in mind if you plan on going into the studio over the next 6-9 months or so. I can't guarantee that all songs submitted will go on the finished CD, but I will give careful consideration to each and every song. Also, if you have a song or songs that have already been commercially released, get in touch - I am open to including previously issued material. Although the bar was set pretty high with Volume One, I'm hoping Volume Two will be even better!
Thanks,
Sean

Sean, are you taking suggestions from Fans?
I just listened to the new version of the Volume 1 that Kristena bought for me for Christmas(thanks Kristena) and then went and hunted down some other songs that bands have posted to sg101 lately.
So I bummped the threads back to the top of the Gen discussion area.if you wanna give some of them a listen.

Heck, I would be interested in this! I already enjoy my Meshugga Beach Party CD.
I went to my first Jewish event earlier this year--a Batmitzvah. Did I spell it right? The entire time, I was listening to the music, thinking how much I'd love to hear it made into an instrumetal surf version.

TT, once you've gone to enough Jewish events, you start to get a real sense of how the Jews influenced the whole Broadway showtune style. It actually goes back thousands of year.
