I believe I had read about this "Kid" before, maybe even seen a YouTube video by him
His name is "Mojo" Myles Mancuso

I was at a show at KENNY'S CASTAWAYS last friday night (September 24th 2010) and stumbled upon this Kid, backed by a Drummer (his Dad Nick) and bass guitarist. It was part of a 2-day Project called 'The Roots of NY Concert & Film'. Luckily I was able to shoot a video of him, his last number, called 'SHE'S TOO HOT', a tune written by the late BILL PERRY.
So I know of course it ain't surf, but nonetheless, I believe guitarists and fans of the instrument (as we all are here!) will dig this protege phenomenon!
