Wasn't successful in staying up late enough east coast time to hear this live, but just caught the complete soundcheck playback. Nice set and interviews, Cuz, Danny, Ivan, Sean! Ears perked by the Frankie & the Pool Boys potential activity comment. Left coasters should be equally attentive to Ivan's mention of possible shows (...could that be the Convention? That was a lot of fun (despite suffering from the flu - but I drank a bunch of hot tea before the interview and sucked on Cepacol - it seemed to do the job, my voice sounded OK and I wasn't coughing). Nice show, Mary--and good interview with the guys. I got to hang out with Brian in the IRC and listen live last night, so added bonus, I got his comments and importantly, recommendations for further listening on many of the bands I'm not that familiar with yet. Thanks again Brian. (Hope more people will get into the IRC thing..it's fun!) |

Mary...thanks for the spin yesterday. And, the kind words in the Surf Dance review! I listened to that CD this week for the first time in about three months, and I was hearing all kinds of subtleties I had forgotten about.
