I first heard this on a Ventures album and when I went to burn it on my computer it said it was a different song, anways I found it on youtube by The Astronauts and was curious if anyone knew what key it was in, what the chords were, or even had tab to it cause I'd love to learn it but my ear isn't that great and it'd help to have some sort of walk in the right direction.
Here is the song:

We play it in the Tomorrowmen. I play rhythm! From memory:
Key: Am
Verse: Am (5th fret) / Am/ Am / Am / Dm (5th) / Dm / Am / Am / Em (7th) / Em / Dm / Dm / Am / Am / Am / Am
Break (Follow the accents here. The rhythm is kinda syncopated): Am G / Am G / Am G / Am C
Am / G / F / E / Am / G / F / E
Buildup: G / Am / B --> verse
second time: G / Am / B / C / Dm / E ---> verse

One correction Ben, on the break it's Gm.

On several 'Verb songs there are times where I play either a minor when it is suppose to be a major... and vice versa. I had no idea it was wrong. Just couldn't tell, granted I am a fan of the occasional minor note in a major scale. It is a confluence of playing at extreme volumes and misreading other people's hands.

On this song it's obvious because the lead plays a Bb. Usually one has to go by feel more than theory to choose minor or major.
