This is really cool - good work! Yamaha were and are still geniuses of design and functionality. I like the looks of the BJ-Pro - beautiful. |

Nice! I think your years may be off though, I actually own an SGV800 made in 1999, and I believe many of those vintage models like the SG-5a were made in the 70's too (unless the year means when it was first produced?) — |

@surfin_bird: Cool ! need a picture of your sg12 ! it's not on the yamaha site. I will edit my post. @morphball: you are right, the year means the "Release Date" according to yamaha. — |

"That would be Kayama Yuzo's limited edition signature Yamaha - the SG3KY (note: "KY" for Kayama Yuzo). It was put out in 2005 to commemorate both the 40th Anniversary of the Yamaha electric guitar and the 45th Anniversary of Kayama's debut. Yamaha made 45 of them and they listed for 880,000 yen each - that's about $8000 US." well... expensive is'nt it ? ^^ — |

That has GOT to be one of the coolest looking guitars ever made!!! Mark There are no wrong notes, just some questionable choices. |
