There are many female players in other genres, but when it comes to
Surf Music ... Do they only dance and look pretty?
Some said ... NO! ... I can play!!
In our days we got al least a few women that break this rule
and they do it in the best possible manner ...
So here are the ones I can remember ... don't let me forget anyone !!
Lada Furlan - BM
Yolanda - Twang! Marvels
Catherine Gray - Space Cossacks
Zombie Girl - Messer Chups
The Neptunas
The TrashWomen
Niki - Wadadli Riders

Royal Fingers/Wild Sammy & the Royaltones
Goggle-A
— That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Don't forget Susan Yasinski from Susan and the Surftones -- one of the very few women in surf who actually plays lead guitar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acz24CkPpoE

Tiki Tiki Bamboooos - ?
How could I forget Tiki Tiki Bamboos bass player (can't remember her name from the top of my head). They gave an incredible show in one of the afternoons of Wild Weekend IV in Benidorm, Spain 2003 and was always great fun partying with them during that weekend.
Talking about bass players, just remind Beat Girl Alexnadra from Speedball Junior.

Vicky Surfliner. What happened to her? She was very active in the old Yahoo Group days (mainly on Cowabunga) and then nothing.

Ingeniously simple and wickedly smart the Neptunas are far from bad.
Ha! you then go on to insult ALL lady players!

Vicky Davis (from Davis CA) is still playing with "The Surf-Liners" according to their website. They have gigs lined up through July.

Where is my head? Completely forgot Joana from Thee Rumble Bees! Shame on me and I'm sorry Joana, if you ever see this thread!
