Permalink Spaghetti Western Fuzz

New Topic

These sell for $150 new. This one is in excellent condition, and includes original box and paperwork. I'm asking $120, shipped, in the continental US.

This is not a cultured fuzz. It sounds nasty and nasally. It sounds a lot like some of the fuzz sounds you hear in spaghetti western soundtracks, hence the name. For example, the guitar bit in Morricone's "Man With The Harmonica."

I'm not a retailer, so I won't accept a return just because you change your mind later. You can always sell it to someone else if it doesn't float your boat.

It's true bypass, and runs on a 9v batter or standard 9v (center negative) power supply.

See: www.bigfootfx.com for information and clips.

He's right. It is a very gnarly, nasty sounding fuzz. It has some really cool sounds, though. I could see using it in conjunction with a compressor.

Umafloresta, Didn't you just recently buy this pedal? I think that I bought the magnavibe around the same time. I was under the impression that you dug it the spaghetti western fuzz. What has changed your mind? Is it a versatility issue? what gives?

I bought it late last year. I still like it a lot - the issue is I've overspent on gear recently and have to start paying down the credit card. Otherwise I'd hold onto it. This is one of the few pieces of gear I own that isn't modified or home made, and therefore makes the most sense to sell.

Ah, I've been there myself. I have no experience with the Spaghetti Western Fuzz, but I can vouch for the build quality of the MagnaVibe. This is a good deal. I wish that I needed a fuzz.
