Early Silverface

I have a Silverface dual showman head only. When I bought it I assumed it was a 68, but when I checked the chasis the date code was Nov. 1967. It is an AB763 circut. Does this mean it's a 67 or 68? —www.myspace.com/vondrats |

As I understand it, some of the very early silver face amps were just the black face models in the silver face cosmetics. AB763 is typically what you would see in a black face. Probably a 68 though, I would guess. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |
