There is a car show on April 24th and several other outdoor events between July and September. The city of Seal Beach is looking for bands to play at these. They will require a promo kit with song samples, photos, a bio...etc.

It would be nice to have some surf bands again for the shows. Lately, the musical styles haven't been very beachy. I'm pretty sure that there are sponsors for the summer shows, presumably to pay the bands, among other costs.

I spoke with a member of a band that has played for Seal Beach before and he said they were paid well.
SO! I found out today that if you're interested in doing this, you must submit your info by the end of February. I highly suggest contacting them before sending out your promo kit. Keep the lines of communication open.
