Yes, Thanks HBKahuna. For your time and effort in posting pics. It's really great of you to do that. Muchly appreciated! A break from all text and as they say "One picture is worth 1000 words."

The 2 guitar players from the Thrusters, were kneeling and praying
Allah style and kissing Dave's feet, then got up and were jumping around like they scored a touchdown. Really funny moment of the day.
Slacktone is always very moving for some people.
I just sit and shake my head in disbelief, even after seeinng them
many many many times. always stellar seeing them play.

Thanks for sharing again, Tim. When I can find some time, I'll post one of those pictures I took at the end of the show with all 3 bands in a group photo.

Kristena could you email me the photos you took at all 4 shows?
pretty please
Cheers
Kyle
Sure. I've had a bad week at work, so I haven't even uploaded any of them yet. I'm off for the weekend, so I plan on starting that tonight.

I was bummed to see the Rickenbacker Bass at first, but it really sounded fine, good definition yet not to thin or whimpy sounding.
and had a bit of ooomph to it.
who'd a thunk it.

I've been a fan of Ricky basses for some time. The few I've played have all felt really nice too. I've never found them to be thin or anything like that.
Hell, if I could stop buying guitars for a minute, I'd probably spring for one as a second bass for me to alternate to.

Does anyone know what type of bass Sam is playing (the orangish one with a P pickup)??
Doesn't look like any Fender that I know of.

My guess is that it's a Warmoth custom. I know Kenan, the original Lava Rat bassist, had an offset body bass. It's one of their stock designs. Then the really nice part is, you get the beautiful offset body, and you can choose what pickups and neck you want with it!!!
For pics of Kenan's bass, check www.thelavarats.com/images -- basically the first half of the links should all have a pic of it somewhere in there.
