11 full pages! Some stuff I've never seen before. It's a pity the images are quite small and low-res though.

It's funny how Jon & The Nightriders snuck in there...their album cover certainly does look like it came from the original era!

There are also quite a few other album covers from modern time bands like the Bomboras and the Phantom Surfers.

BTW, why is Ursula Andress on the cover of this one? Laughing

Thanks Klas.

And Andress is on the cover because of Dr. No and the bikini. She is the epitome, especially in '62, of what a woman on the beach could look like.

Oh man Ursula! Have you guys seen Fun in Acapulco??

I've wanted The Rivieras Campus party for a long time. I just got this one though....

Well, you gonna hold the years late 1975 - 1976-1977 against the man? He coulds still sing better than anyone at this point. I still think knocking late 70s Elvis is pretty bad, he had a lot of problems at this point.

That's our Jacob, always thinking that he's funny! Which is why we love him, he's humorous when he attempts to be witty Exclamation

Just in case you guys didn't know, Elvis Died. :-l
J/k of course I know you know that, but the way you wrote what you did, it sounded like you didn't.
by the way, were you guys born yet when he died?
I'm only 34 and your making me feel old.

Wow Klas, that's pretty cool, thanks for posting that.
I'm actually amazed I have alot of those old LP's.
I buy them and put them away and forget about them.
My Brother in Law (who with his Brother works on Hot rods for a living)
has alot of the Hot Rod, and Dragracing LP's up at his shop.

I got this book from Kristena for x-mas I think it's called the Surfing USA
the historey of surfing in the US. And it has all these old surf lp's pictured
in it. But the one that doesn't fit is The Del Vamps Play with Fire I think it's called. Was released by Continental records( now Double crown).
But it black and white and looks old, so they thought it was fromthe 60's.

Have you seen that Sean?

Why would you do that?!? Don't you have a turntable?

Oh, you will understand when you visit him at his place.

Thanks for posting those covers.

The Scimitars

Thanks Ran, that's funny.
Klas yes I do have a turntable, a must have for any ture surf or exotica fan for sure.
But shamefully I must admidt that my room is a bit of a bomb zone.
I have 2 cd racks that hold 800 cd's that are full, then I have about 15 boxes of 25 full of new surf I've bought since the racks filled up 4 years ago. Then I have Leaning towers of PIZZA of cd's scattered around the room. Then I have 3 huge rows of vinyl standing up of course.
LP's,10"ers,and 45's all covered with dust and dirty clothes.
I keep planning on spendig a weekend and cleaning house.
But with all the surf and tiki events I keep putting it off.
One day it will be done.
I also want to catalog all the stuff I have and post a list. and compare with other hardcore fans. Of course there are many that have more than
I do. But I think I've done good in the almost 10 years being into surf.
