After I got home and had time to look at my collection, here some I'd like to add to my list:
the Hellbender Today we kill, Tomorrow we die
Bitch Boys - Ride the first wave (I know its all cover, but it done with some different arrangements.)
Slacktone Into the Blue Sparkle
Madeira Carpe Noctem
Diamondheads Surf Guitar Instrumentals
Ghastly Ones Unearthed
I dont have some of the ones others had mentioned. I guess I'm gonna have to check 'em out. I think this is a nice thread to see how some of my favs stack up with others.

Yeah, put me down for The Hellbenders, Fifty Foot Combo "Evil A Go-Go", Slacktone ITBS, Husky & The Sandmen "Ridin' The Wild Surf", and Atomic Mosquitos "Meltdown".
Slacktone also put out 2 live CD's this decade. I remember liking one of them far better than the other one. I'll have to go dig those up and see which was which.
I guess I have way more than 10 now.

I just have to say what a cool list we've got going here, and it makes me squirm for all the stuff I see that I don't have or haven't heard yet. Plus, I'm really excited for the next ten years. Actually a considerable handful of my favorite surf songs right now are ones that haven't been recorded and/or released yet. Here's to another promising decade!

Since most of my choices have already been mentioned several times, here's the only one I find missing (and it is very high on my list, I would say directly after Slacktones Into The Blue Sparkle): Robert Johnson and Punchdrunks: Fried On The Altar Of Good Taste. I find their newer releases rather disappointing, but 2000, when Fried... came out, they were at their peak.

Slacktone - while I think "Into the Blue Sparkle" is a great studio album, the two live discs - Prague and Berlin - really illustrate what the band is all about - simply put - they can play all that and a bag of chips LIVE!!!!
