Hello GC24,

He's talking about a Zoom multi effects pedal
I don't know which one, there are a few.
This place sells em
http://www.guitarpedalstore.com/default.asp/Filter_Zoom

Cheers.

Yea, I knew it was a Zoom, just can't figure out which one either. He mentions A1, but that doesn't help.

He GC24,

Yeah that A1 is just setting most of the models use.
Guess a test driving is in order.

Cheers.

Thanks. Maybe it's a G1 or G2.

Also don't forget this - a guide how to program your own 508 to make it sounds like the Shadows.

Ok, thanks alot for the info and the patch info.

huh huh..... huh huh huh...... unit...... huh huh huh

Peace to you, not on you

Ivan,
Shouldn't you be able to program other Zoom pedals like the A2 and G1 with the Shads patches as well?

I don't know. The unit has to have the capability to fine-tune the multi-tap echo settings in order to emulate those old echo units, and I don't think the ones you list above do. The main reason why I suspect that is that I have not seen any reference to those units being used for this purpose by any of the Shadows-type players. But it's just a guess...

My guitar tech has a A2, I think I might go and try it out, but I suspect that your right.

I had a Zoom 500 series Multi effects pedal, you were stuck with just a few delay settings like fast, medium and slow. No fine tuning.

I just bought a Zoom 508 for $60.00, will have to patch it though.

Yea, I have that one, I figure you have probably revised it though, right?

I haven't done anything with it. When I bought my 508 it was already programmed with all the Shadows patches and it came with a sheet showing which patch to use for which song. I really don't know anything about the patches suggested at the above site, but at least it's a start.
