surf song suggestions

Hey,
Haven't been on here in a while. Anyways, I finally started my own surf band, Apache Surf. We currently have mastered Misirlou and Wipeout. Do you guys have any suggestions on what else we should paly? We are looking for about 3-7 more song to add to our agenda.

Always write originals even if they are bad. That is how you get better. Also, change your name from Apache Surf. Preferably to something that doesn't have anything to do with the genre. Or is sort of ambiguous on having to deal with the genre. Trust me, we did the surf name thing.

Well, with that name, "Apache" by the Shadows would be a good start.

Or how about "Surf Rider" by either the Ventures or the Lively Ones?

Alright... Yeah we also do "surf jams" so that could probably cover around 10 minutes of our time. Anyways I do like those suggestions, however, we are looking for more of a surf/punk feel kind of like Misirlou... something you can really get into. We will probably change our name.... That is our "rough draft" name. Thanks for the advice so far..

If you started with Misirlou and Wipeout then your logical next song is Surf Jam. A good crowd pleaser. Maybe also Bulldog and Volcanic Action. How about Goofy Foot or Bangalore? Writing your own stuff was a good idea, too, actually. Makes you think about what you're doing. Write something to go with that surfin' Apache. Maybe something called Tonto? (Google tonto apache.)

Uh, where does Daikaiju fit into this?

O, they are my favorite surf band. But, their music is too complex for me to play. I have only played since late July.
