pretty difficult to watch at times, painful and sad for me to see what happened to Brian Wilson, Jan Berry

I recognize Jan Berry, but who's the skinny guy with the shades and the crazy hair?

Thanks for this - because the lyrics are light, it's easy to miss the work and talent in some of these songs. Great photo too!

So this Mark Moore guy has access to original scores, and he turns them into cheezy synth and drum machine midi files? Some tribute.

I watched the interview with Brian Wilson and Zooey Deschanel recently LINK and was struck by how coherent he seemed. Admittedly I watched it more for Ms. Deschanel, whose album was getting good reviews* and whose physical appearance bests Mr. Wilson's by a wide margin.
Anyhow, I reloaded that clip and I think it might be a trick of editing...
*: She & Him, Vol 1. I liked it. She has a cool, quirky voice and wrote many of the tunes. Almost Byrds-style country, or maybe slightly Dusty Springfield, and w/ a blessed lack of pitch correction.
