hey, check out the video link findicator posted on the home page.

i'm new here (been lurking in the gear forum for a while), but just wanted to say i did enjoy this video and the fin-dicators' tunes.

this totally reminds me of being a teenage surf rat in beach haven, just down the coast from manasquan. we lived 2 blocks from freedom surf shop (mid-70's) and i would kill for one of their t-shirts today - along with the op cord shorts and puka shell necklace.

we weren't listening to surf music then, probably frampton comes alive.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. Most surfers in NJ are into reggae, ska dub, whatever, mon.

I hate to ruin a cool memory but the Freedom Surf Shop has gone new-agey and is more a spa than surf shop.

I still think about going to Groggs though, too.

What day is Surf Rock's birthday? Looks like Surf Rock and I was born the same year. Maybe we are both Libras?

'grogs surf palace'...........last time i was in there was many (many) waves ago.

cool!

off topic but I'm looking for a freshwater longboard, i've been told to get a BIC because of the buoyancy and ease of use. I don't catch many turns up here at my local point, just getting into a wave is hard enough for me. Any suggestions?
