i'm new here (been lurking in the gear forum for a while), but just wanted to say i did enjoy this video and the fin-dicators' tunes. this totally reminds me of being a teenage surf rat in beach haven, just down the coast from manasquan. we lived 2 blocks from freedom surf shop (mid-70's) and i would kill for one of their t-shirts today - along with the op cord shorts and puka shell necklace. we weren't listening to surf music then, probably frampton comes alive. |

Hey, thanks for the kind words. Most surfers in NJ are into reggae, ska dub, whatever, mon. I hate to ruin a cool memory but the Freedom Surf Shop has gone new-agey and is more a spa than surf shop. http://www.freedomsurfandspa.com/index.html I still think about going to Groggs though, too.
What day is Surf Rock's birthday? Looks like Surf Rock and I was born the same year. Maybe we are both Libras? |

cool! off topic but I'm looking for a freshwater longboard, i've been told to get a BIC because of the buoyancy and ease of use. I don't catch many turns up here at my local point, just getting into a wave is hard enough for me. Any suggestions? —www.myspace.com/vondrats |
