Hello SurfGuitar101ians:
My name is bill. I play lead/rhythm guitar and bass in a surf band (at
different times, of course). No, that band hasn't broken-up, it just goes through hiatuses that are a little long at times. They also have like a 20 mile radius for gigs that I find a little
restricting.
I want to play 2x a month. I played out with the current band three times since January, 2008.
Anyone in Central NJ want to play in a more active surf rock/instro/garage/rockabilly band? Contrary to what my login says, I am drug free, intelligent, am not a
felon, drive, own a house and, especially important, I have a JOB. In other words, true, I am a little quirky, but I am sincere and somewhat motivated. I also want to write more originals and record as well as play out.
You can hear/see me play bass with this band at a recent community event.

Sincerly,

Carol:
That week that I spent vacationing in Buxton was one of the most relaxing vacations I ever had. I didn't get to surf much because the conditions were a little rough. It was fun to play some music too.
Hey, any companies looking for a QA Chemist down in the Outer Banks? Yeah, thats what I thought.

Bill, hi, I'm Howard and I live in central Jersey in Marlboro, NJ. Where do you live? I'm not in a band at all. Like you said, I have a life too. Job (commute to NYC every day), family 2 kids, own a house, drive, chores, responsibilities and everything else. With guitar playing it's a long story. I'll explain in detail in an email. Is that your email where I can reach you? But I'm loving surf instro's very much. Don't have much time to play at night, but trying to pick up as much as I can and get back into the mode.
Talk to you soon, Howard L

I live in Forked River. Pretty far away:( Always looking for someone to get together with.
