Thanks to everyone for your b'day wishes. Much appreciated. Another year gone, but a better one is ahead of us!! "The Sound of Surf" is moving along very nicely. We have some incredible interviews and performance footage in the can. Tom Duncan is doing an amazing job as director of this film. Post-production to begin soon with an expected premiere next spring. The new 4th edition of "The Illustrated Discography of Surf Music 1961-1965" is within a couple of weeks of publication (2008 is the 30th anniversary of the 1st edition of this book!!! Where does the time go?). Please check my website for announcements of these events and more in the weeks and months ahead.

hey John have you thought of having a book release, signing show/party,
maybe have a band or 2 play, maybe get you up to do a few songs.

I'm sure that a few local bands would be up for it.
