I am in Asia where there is (unsurprisingly) a dearth of Hawaiian shirts. Anyone know where I can get some ? I'm think of ordering online. Does anyone's band sell any ? Does SG 101 have them ?
I used to have a really good one which was a standard design with guitars interwoven between the palm trees. Very surf instro.
Thanks,
PG

It will probably be over-priced, but I've seen some great vintage shirts on Ebay in the past.

So many Hawaiian Shirts these days are not so cool. I remember seeing a video on youtube of Laika and Cosmonauts and they were all wearing really spiffy shirts that had galaxies, planets, comets et cetera.
Two shirts on this page are close, but not as tasteful as what our Finnish friends wore.

The pizza shirt is kinda funny.

Yes, I do indeed call them good Hawaiian shirts. I especially like the one with the US Pacific Fleet on it. I am aware that there will be those that disagree with me but thats not a factor in how I form my preferences, tastes, ideas and beliefs.

Some of the more upscale brands are Kahala, Tommy Bahama, Nat Nast, Tori Richard, Ryen Spooner. Paradise Found also makes some nice shirts but for a more moderate price.

When I was deep in the Tiki scene I had over 100 shirts from MR. California to Reyn Spooner xmas releases.
if I can find the boxes in storage I'll offer up some here to those that might want some. and not for a crazy price. I paid maybe one or two bucks for most at thrift stores in the early 90's.
I did recently find one box of maybe 10 shirts that I'm keeping. some vintage, some Spooners.
I like the vintage ones for the wacky outings and the "yacht Broker" look of a Reyn Spooner to meet my next future ex-wifes parents...
Here's a shirt that has the race car I drive on it. haven't worn this one yet. LOL.
