i have the small bodys 66 malibu and newporter both are very cool guitars and i love the way they sound and play very fender and very surf, each model is named after a 60's ca. surf spot, the new ones are also cool guitars the next step, would love one of those too............. —Facebook pages theSupertones |

But the ad background graphic is leaning on The Endless Summer graphic by John van Hamersveld, created after he left Surfer magazine. Severson created ebnough great art for 10 guitars like that (and ten ads).
