I met a dude at a gig we had maybe 4 or 5 years ago here in Sweden. he played in a rockabilly band of which i cannot remember the name . any way he said he also played guitar in a surfband called Los Walkysons and i found a cd with them and they were pretty good. If i remember correctly his name is Adria Gual.
Is there anybody here at SG101 that know of this band?

The reality is that we do not wash our own laundry - it just gets dirtier.

I know them, they are from Spain. Great band!

Yes, they were from Barcelona. Recorded a CD with El Toro records that also was pressed in vinyl by Kamikaze Records in Germany (All their greatest hits and more) featuring on the back a fake biography pretending they were an obscure 60's band from California, and in fact they sounded like a 60's band. They did a mix of vocal and instrumental surf and also some frat rock.

Sadly they disbanded about five years ago after lots of changes in their formation.

Adria is now in the Fabulous Ottomans.

I've not seen them, but have heard some of their hugely entertaining covers while sharing a drink with Adria and some other folks in the Barbara Ann in Barcelona.

Los Walkysons I have seen and you are right about them; very good indeed.

Los Fantasticos

But in this moment...i think thet the Walkinsons don,t play more..
the band Meows( barcelona) ....is part os the Walkinsons people
