I love this clip!!

Such a treat to see Rip blazing away again, just like old times, on his trademark Jaguar. (I gotta admit, though, that I prefer that axe's new paint job. But hey, all my guitars are black!)

Spanky, can you tell us how this video was taped and assembled? Who shot the first segment and where? The final sequence is apparently at The Echo Lounge...Was this one of your headlining spots?

Also, can you post the "Redlined" video on YouTube too?

Wow.

Red Sunrise is my favorite surf song and those were both great versions. I'm at a loss for words.

I am correct in assuming there is no tab for this song?

Thanks for all the possitive response. As for a few answers...

The first part was filmed at a private party in Atlanta March '03 where the hosts announced - We're getting Married! - And We're Pregnant!! - Good times. The guys who did the camera work here also gave us some 35 mm footage from a gig at The Point from way back when that I'm editing together now.

Yes the second half was filmed at the Echo Lounge in January '03. I can't remember if we headlined or not.

I don't think there is any tab for Red Sunrise, but it's a good camera angle to get you started in the right direction there.

Not sure about Drive Invasion, but if we can make it, Sunday is the only day that fits the schedule.

As for Redlined, we're working on that, The only version we have right now is of very poor quality. I hope I don't have to resort to transfering it from VHS.

I was fortunate to be at that Echo Lounge gig in January '03. It was a magical but bittersweet night.

The Penetrators singlehandedly brought surf music back to life in the South in the mid-'90's. And are keeping it very much alive today.
