At least I think SCOTS, is parody. No hillbilly could pull that off. Here I thought this was a legit thread!

Here's one, we had to choose between opening for Dick Dale, or the Ventures.

Guess which one we chose.

One was in Santa Cruz and One was in Fresno on the same night.

as for Southern Culture on the Skids last Sat.
they smoked the place.
sooo good.
I have not seen them in 12 or so years.
and I was so impressed,
They had a live import cd recorded in 97 and it sounds just like they do today.
kudos to them for staying so good.
they played about 5 or 6 instros.
