Cowabunga Box set $250!

Hey,

I would love to have the Cowabunga Box Set but it is too rich for my blood. Why don't they reissue this box set? They could make a fortune on it.

Yeah, that's a bunch of malarky...luckily I found it at the Columbus Library here. Now I can at least borrow it for awhile. I wish they'd reissue it, though. Or put out something similar, maybe new and improved.

Makes me want to kick my self everytime I think of the 4 or 5 of them I saw on clearance at Costco ( new) for 30 bucks about 4 years ago. I could have made a ton of profit.

or been a really good friend and given them as x-mas presents to a few of my frineds that don't have them.

Yes, this <b>out-of-print</b> box set is way overpriced thanks to enterprising capitalists. All four discs are available for free download, perfect for your iPod, if you know where to look.

I had several heart-breaking experiences trying to get the Cowabunga comp through the Amazon Marketplace Sellers (for used stuff) - I found it at decent prices (like $50 US!), then got confirmation e-mails, then retraction e-mails ("sorry, there's been a mistake - it's out of stock") which place you at the back of the queue . . . all very depressing.

The story does have a happy ending, though - I was lucky enough to eventually get a copy, so hang in there! I think I paid about $60 US.

I got it last week as a birthday present from my mom. I had no idea it was that expensive.

The box itself is really nice though. Not only does it look like the title is written onto a surfboard, but they did a fun effect with the plastic to make it look like water droplets
