On the show today (Thursday, August 7th), Dusty Watson and Rikki Styxx will be in the studio talking drums, drumming and DVDs. Call with questions, comments, opinions, thoughts, etc... 619-594-6982 Keep in mind, this may be the best drummer in the world of surf and beyond... and Dusty will be there also. A Day at the Beach Playlist archives can be found at: Todays show featured a live performance by Belgiums finest, Los Venturas. I continue to be amazed by the awesome music of these European surf bands
just incredible! They played two sets with a little verbal exchange in-between. My thanks go out to Pieter, Christoph, Michael, Andy (and Anna) for taking the time and money to make the trip to California (and TJ) to share their music with us. A very fun show indeed

They stopped by the studio to visit and talk about all things surf in both Italy and Antigua (Caribbean). We also talked about the bands recent tour where they were accompanied by Daddy-O Grande. Thanks to Lorenzo for setting everything up and being the spokesman for the band. We played all three songs from their EP during the interview.
