Hey gang!
Finally, some clips of Meshugga Beach Party (v1) performing some songs for a video last January. You may have to try the links a few times to get through, they're fresh off the the modem.
Also, two opportunities to catch Meshugga Beach Party (v2) in September:
Sept 16 San Jose Art Car Festival
Sept 17 To Life Jewish Festival Palo Alto
Enjoy!

Hey!!!! Who are those imposters surrounding Mel and Karen?
Oh wait a minute: I recognize Jaime on rhythm guitar .............
Very nice job, Mel! I was a bit dubious when you had to replace
Shig, Johnny and Ferenc, but Danny, Stu and Steve are killers in
their own right. You guys never missed a beat! See you at the
car show in San Jose....

Shecky Sheckels, Stuart and the Shabbas Goy are doing a fine job replacing Hyman, Yonkel and Shig. Oy, it brings me such naches. And Karen, the Shayna Maidele, who knew a woman with facial hair could look so good?

nice vids. I like the dance moves too, makes it so great to watch these videos. are there any videos from that SF run you played, which had the photos put on recently? any chance of getting MBP and the genies on video?
btw, where can I get a new meshugga cd easiest? Amazon had it right, or do you rather sell them personally? I gave mine away to a neighbour when I found out he played drums in a Klezmer band last week.

cool vids,
great sound mix, not all distorted like most live videos,
everybody in the band is doin a great job,
especailly Karen, I was blown away how good she is over all.
But especailly on Sherele, great playing.
When ya bringin' the MBP down to So. Cal. ?
What heppened to the Jewish book store tour?
I'm sure Beverly Hills and West LA has some great gig opportunities.
and I got some Baby presents for Ran and Dales baby at a Jewish store in Coasta Mesa called the Golden Dreidle. They even had the MBP cd there. I was all vaclemt(sp?)

Karen is a fantastic player. Her ability to do the dual manual thing (piano and organ simultaneously) opens a lot of musical territory for us. Also, Danny, Steve and Stuart are pretty darn talented as well. You should look out for their new secular groups, The Tomorrow Men (Danny and Steve) and the El Dorados (Stuart, with Mark English, ex. Space Cossacks)
Hopefully we'll get down to SoCal before too long. My schedule has been hectic, leaving me quite verkelmt!
