The San Clemente Surfing Heritage Foundation's Summer Surf Film Series begins July 18 with showings through September.
The outdoor screenings, presented by Rainbow Sandals, will be held at the foundation's facility in San Clemente, 110 Calle Iglesia.
The series begins Friday, July 18, with "Waterman," directed by Sonny Miller, who chronicles surfers' journeys through the Mentawais. Special guests Laird Hamilton and Dave Kalama will be present.
On Saturday, Aug. 16, the foundation will screen "Highwater," directed by Dana Brown, documenting Oahu's North Shore's triple crown of surfing. Special guests Dana and Wes Brown will be present.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, Chris Malloy's "One Track Mind," will be shown, featuring 14-year-old up-and-comer Kolohe Andino.
