Well,,,no matter what they call themselves they are both uh, hummmmm, omg, ,
Can anyone say. sold out to the camera?
Looks like a ex-hair group trying to get in on the next surf wave.
The worst part is that some dumb hiring clerk at a theme park bought their junk thinking it is surf music.
Oh no, I think I'm gonna be sick again.

That is exactly what I thought when I read Joel's post.
Zak, that is good information to know. Now I know.

The audio quality is bad but I like Searchin for da Cat.
The shirts might not be too bad if they were buttoned up, I too was waiting for the Tigers to show.

Guy playing the thinline tele, he looks like he could be related to "Dog" The bounty hunter.

Duh,,, nope
oops.
Welcome to SG101.
we're usually nice to new folks.
However, I'm surprised that so many here felt the same way.
I did listen to their myspace page , and if I don't look at the pictures I am fine with their music. In fact I say it's true surf sounding to me.
But I stick by my feelings of their ex-hair band looks and the way they present themselves.. It reminds me a little of David Lee Roth, and that other guitar player Tommy something.
It seems that I'm in a rare mood this morning.

I'm usually a harsh critic myself, but hell at least these cats aren't playing hip slop or emo crap. They were even playing to a large crowd that probably had some young teenage kid in the audience, and got his or her attention to the surf sound that we all know and love.Heck it may even lead to some youngster actually wanting to play a actual real guitar and maybe one day become one of the greatest surf guitarist ever.It could happen ,all it takes is a spark.Sure it may not have been the best surf trio ever ,but it's better than 99% of the shit the population is listening to these days.
As for the neon green shirts in the first clip

Well, I want a dancing penguin like that! (He could carry my amp and fetch cold beers at gigs. Cool!)
