WOW!, great stuff, nice to hear that twang in there. Anyway, can't wait for Friday. Our band, OuterWave - "tradmasters de luxe" from SoCal will begin the show and then The Kilaueas take the stage. This should be great. Lots of vintage tubes and reverb and it's free, but please be generous in making a donation to The Kilaueas SoCal trip fund. Let us show our surf music brothers from Stuttgart some love and hospitality.
OuterWave is really looking forward to this show.

Man, I REALLY love the Kilaueas! I think they're among the very best surf bands in the world today. Those of you that haven't checked out their new CD, "Professor Volcanova" yet, you absolutely MUST! It's simply brilliant. I can best describe it as a mix of the Nebulas and the Bambi Molesters (and a bit of the Atlantics thrown in on occasion), but with their own spin and sound. And though they clearly have chops up the wazoo, ultimately what makes them great is that they write really damn good surf songs! You West Coast people are VERY lucky that they're coming there for a two-week tour in a couple of days. I even tried to figure out how I can go catch one or two of the shows, but I just couldn't do it.
Anyway, Professor Volcanova is sold through Double Crown Mail Order for only $14.75, if you're interested: http://www.dblcrown.com/catalog.html
Don't miss them if you are in a position to see them!
