The Kilaueas have been added as support for the upcoming show with Dick Dale at the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland Oregon!
Tuesday September 12
Doors 8pm, Show 9pm
$20 advance, $20 day of show

Good score Sean! I am sure the Kilaueas are thrilled to open for DD.
Also, the Pyronauts* (who are opening for DD on 9/1) will open the Hotel Utah show. Pollo is also opening for DD on 9/9 at the Brookdale Lodge (the night before the Utah show.) Hey, everybody can open for DD!
*The Pyronauts will have Dusty Watson on drums that night.

Great news for the Kilaueas, and both Pyronauts and Pollo also.
I guess the rumor about DD not having surf bands open for him is way over. Shit I've seen it happen for 10 years here in So. Cal. anyways, But especially lately. The Last East coast tour had almost every Nesma band opening for him in a different city.
wonder what the change has been?
Back to Kilaueas, what happened to the Thurs. Aug 31st show at the tiki House in Pacific Beach(SD area) ?
I knew some people that were gonna go to that.

The 'Verb is trying to get the Seattle show. We had tried to get the Portland show and were close to getting it. We draw a larger crowd in Portland so that would have been better for us.
