Summer's coming and thoughts turn to warm water surfing. For the non-surfers on this site, this video is pretty good at capturing what it's really like :

Very nice footage! The thing is that a lot of what surfers listen to in Hawaii IS "jawaiian". Guess most of the genre of surf music is too upbeat for this laid-back land.

Not on Sunday nights at The Sheraton Kauai Resort in Poipu!! The crowds are getting bigger and staying 'till the end. The TakeOffs will also be featured at the Kauai Hospice 4th of July concert this year so we're doing something right!!
June marks our 3rd year at The Sheraton!!
Come to Kauai and catch a few waves on the South Shore and see/sit in with The TakeOffs this summer.

Aloha Ron!
My partner Glenn and family are in Kauai now and caught your show last Sunday--says it was a blast.
I should be there in late July-early August. Looking forward to it, but this means I will miss the SG101 convention that weekend. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to Kauai.
Here's me at Waiohai Point last year--the speck in black in the middle. The guy snaking me to my left ate it so the wave was mine. Can't wait for some warm water surfing--local breaks in Malibu have been cold, flat and dirty.

You have the best gig "locale" bar none.
Hope to see you soon!
