Permalink The Ventures Dolton Singles

New Topic

Does anyone reading this have copies of some or all of the following ORIGINAL Ventures' Dolton singles?

Dolton 28 "Perfidia"
Dolton 78 "Ninth Wave"
Dolton 91 "Journey To The Stars"
Dolton 303 "Diamond Head"
Dolton 308 "Ten Seconds To Heaven"
Dolton 325 "Penetration"

If so, could you please PM me with the master numbers for any of the above taken from the runoff area of the vinyl, NOT the labels.

I don't need delta numbers (5-digit #s prefixed with a small triangle), only the complete Dolton master #s, which will look like "DO-#" or "45 DO-#" or "DO-#-1," etc.

I hope I'm posting this in the right place. If not, I'm sure Brian will move it appropriately. I need to try and figure out the Dolton master # scheme for the next edition of the "Illustrated Discography Of Surf Music." Any information that can be provided for the above singles would be very much appreciated!!!

I have Perfidia/No Tresspassing here and there is a number DO-655 (DO-656 for B-Side) in addition to the No-28. Can't find a number anywhere else than the label, but this seems to be what you're looking for. Would you like me to post a picture of it?

edit: oop, found it! It's the same number
