Our first gig is at our unit BBQ the last weekend of July, and we have had one practice (2 weeks ago). The next one is the last weekend in April. Our set list is coming along so far:
James Bond Theme then right into Pipeline
Walk Dont Run
Jack the Ripper
Surf Beat
So far, thats it.
hard part is getting everyone together. The drummer and I live close, our lead guitarist is 4 hours away and is in the process of getting married and our bassist is 90 minutes away.
Anyone else have the "getting the band back together" to practise blues?

I know the last thing you want is 200 people chimming in... But... Since you're doing James Bond anyway... One of the funnest things I ever did was work up a medley of James Bond, Peter Gunn, and the theme from Rawhide. You can start each on the open A string. they all have what I like to call the "Dunh Dunh" factor. We all grew up singing them by going "Dunh Dunh, Dunh Dunh, Dunh Dunh..." 
It's a great opener and lets people know right up front it's going to be fun, not serious...

Yea, I hear ya on that...the lead may move up here...his little lady is looking to the Sacramento area...
