Holy crap, I'm trippin' balls! Shocked I think this would make more sense to me if I were on acid which, for those of you wondering, I am not.

It's funny, until they gave his name at the end I thought Mushroom Man was a big floating head of broccoli.

That was pretty darn cool!

Davie Allan's hotted-up version of Apache ("Apache '65") was actually the first version of that song I had ever heard. Still have the 45 rpm version with the Wild Angels theme on the flip side.

As much as I like The Shadows, their version of Apache sounds like the band was on Prozac when they recorded it, in comparison with Davie and The Arrows arrangement.

The Shadows and Jorgen Ingmann didn't get any airplay in middle Tennessee back in the day...but Davie did!
