I wanna say that Shawn had a GPC Mosrite copy and posted a review of it back on the old mailing list, but I don't remember for certain. GPC (Guitarpunk) has been out of business a long time but I was considering picking one up used and wondered if anyone here had one or had played one. —The Mystery Men? |

Is that the same kind of guitar that Ben Foster played in The Riverdales? I remember wanting one of those a while back. I've never played one, though. |

Yeah, Ben Weasel actually had his own model called The Weaselrite. If you find one of those on eBay they go for close to a grand. They had the regular "Standard" and "Vintage" models, the latter having single coils and a Mosrite-type trem. The Standard model had a hardtail and humbuckers. I think, it's been a while. The one I'm looking at is black with a hardtail. —The Mystery Men? |

Wow, I didn't realize that those would go for that much. Would you modify anything about the one you're looking at, or just play it as-is? |

I would play it as is. If I ever decided to play it with The Surge I would either get some more of those Vintage Vibe humbucker-sized P-90's like I have in my Jagmaster or do a coil tap. —The Mystery Men? |
